About
the Label

HIIM Rec. was founded on a single conviction — that the most powerful music in the world is being made by artists whose stories haven't been told at scale yet. We exist to change that.

Based across Lagos and operating globally, HIIM Rec. is an independent music company built around artist development, publishing administration, strategic marketing, and world-class creative direction. We work with artists who have something real to say and the talent to say it memorably.

Our roster spans Nigerian rap, UK-influenced drill, South African amapiano, and afrobeats — a deliberate reflection of a continent redefining what global music sounds and feels like. We don't sign genres. We sign artists with a point of view.

At HIIM Rec., independence is not a limitation. It is the strategy.
